This traditional and super-soft Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dessert is a great snack during lent. Halva is traditionally made from crushed sesame seeds, otherwise known as Tahini, and comes in a variety of different flavours, while also being an excellent fibre source.

This particular Halva is seasoned pistachio nuts that serve as a saltier ingredient within this sweet dessert. The savoury pistachio gives off a very unique taste to the Halva complementing each other in a proper manner.
